Epic Aircraft — Authorized Service Center

Islander Aviation · Pompano Beach Airpark (KPMP)

Islander Aviation is an Epic Aircraft Authorized Service Center at Pompano Beach Airpark, and the E1000 series and its PT6A-67A engine are on our FAA Part 145 capability list, so inspections, repairs and engine work are repair-station work here. We service and maintain Epic aircraft; we do not sell them.

Frequently asked questions

Does Islander Aviation sell Epic aircraft?
No. Islander is an Epic Authorized Service Center, which covers maintenance and service. For sales, contact Epic Aircraft directly.
Can you do my E1000's annual or scheduled inspection?
Yes. Call 561-288-0807 or send the form on this page with your tail number and the inspection that is due, and we will schedule it.
Do you offer AOG support for Epic aircraft?
Yes, from Pompano Beach Airpark (KPMP), minutes from Fort Lauderdale. Call us and we will tell you honestly what we can do and how fast.
Is Epic work done under your Part 145 certificate?
Yes. The Epic E1000 series is on our FAA-accepted Capability List (Rev. 8, September 2026) for inspections, airframe repair and alteration, and the PT6A-67A is on our engine rating including heavy maintenance. Overhaul is the one thing excluded.

Part 145 and Part 91 — who signs the work

Islander Aviation (BMV Air Center LLC) is an FAA Part 145 repair station, certificate 6KFR481C, with limited airframe, engine, instrument and radio ratings. Our FAA-accepted Capability List (Rev. 8, 29 September 2026) covers airframe inspections, repairs and alterations on Beechcraft, Piper, Cessna, Cirrus, Diamond Aircraft, Epic Aircraft aircraft; inspections and minor repair of Lycoming, Continental, Austro Engine, Pratt & Whitney Canada engines; and pitot-static, transponder, ADS-B and ELT certifications on the listed makes. Overhauls are not performed under the certificate.

Anything not covered under our Part 145 capability list — King Air, Citation and Pilatus airframes, for example — is still performed by Islander Aviation, as Part 91 maintenance signed off by our FAA-certificated A&P and IA mechanics. Engine overhauls are coordinated with a specialist engine shop.
